Six Past Seven ist das musikalische Baby des Stuttgarters ..., der schon seit Mitte der Neunziger Jahre an diversen Projekten und Kolaborationen im Industrial Noise- und Ambient-Bereich gearbeitet hat. Endstadium ist nach seiner Split-CD-R das erste komplette Album, das Six Past Seven allein bestreitet, und das Ergebnis kann sich hören lassen. Ohne die üblichen stimmlichen Verzerrerausbrüche verbinden sich auf Endstadium harte Electro-Beats, Noiseloops und minimalistische Melodielinien â la Suicide Commando mit ambienten Flächen. Das Ergebnis der Bemühungen ist abwechslungsreich und die Gesamtatmosphäre sehr filmisch, was eine Verwechslung mit Industrial Electro-Boliden wie :Wumpscut: oder Suicide Commando von vorneherein ausschließt. Die zwölf neuen Tracks des Projekts Six Past Seven sind im Gegensatz zu dem, was der Albumtitel andeutet, alles andere als das Produkt eines Systemfehlers. Etwas rhytmischer und frischer als das Vorgängerwerk Endstadium, knüpft die aktuelle Scheibe an dessen Tugenden an und verbindet bombastische Industrial Electro-Rhytmik mit dezenten Melodiebögen und viel soundtrackhaften Endzeit-Ambient-Klängen. Neben den typischen Electro-4/4-Beats finden jetzt auch vermehrt Breakbeats Verwendung, was der Abwechslung sehr zugute kommt. In bester Suicide Commando-Manier sind die Stücke manchmal vielleicht etwas zu direkt und plakativ ausgefallen (zum Beispiel In The Name Of God), was jedoch Geschmacksache ist und Anhänger des belgischen Selbstmordkommandos sicher sehr zu schätzen wissen werden. Ein freundliches Hallo an die Electro- Front!
Ich bin untröstlich!!!!, seit Monaten liegt hier eine absolut geile Demo CD rum und ich habe aus Mangel an Zeit noch nichts dazu geschrieben.
"SYSTEM:FAILURE" ...wurde mir von einer symphatischen jungen Frau bei einer Musikveranstaltung in einer nicht mehr erwähnenswerten "Szenelokalität" in Karlsruhe zugesteckt.
Wie sich später heraustellte ist sie die Freundin des kreativen und viel zu bescheidenen Kopfes dieses Projektes.
Das Projekt SIX PAST SEVEN besticht durch seine dunkle Atmosphäre und die eingesetzten Endzeit- Samples, diese wirken richtig platziert und verleihen der Demo- CD eine Gänsehaut-Garantie.
Die CD ist für eine Demo CD erfreulicherweise gut produziert und braucht sich hinter einigen höher bewerteten Szene- Größen nicht zu verstecken!
Ruhigere Industrial Stücke wechseln sich mit Tanzflächen- Knallern ab.
Mein absoluter Lieblings- Track ist natürlich: "Take My Advice"....kann ich gar nicht laut genug hören!
aber auch:
"In the Name of God" und "time to die" bieten sich zum Tanzflächeneinsatz förmlich an!!!!
.....BLADERUNNER finde ich gut.....!!!
Der ganze Reiz dieser CD kommt erst nach mehrmaligen Hören zum Tragen, die Flächensounds und versteckten Sequenzen( Abmischung?), gerade bei den ruhigeren Stücken ("Summer Breeze"), erfordern ein konzentriertes Zuhören, aber gerade das macht Spaß!
Ein vielversprechendes Projekt von dem wir noch hören werden!

"Your music is VERY UNIQUE... It's good to see that others are breaking away from the "norm" and doing their OWN thing. I realize that most musicians are reluctent to experiment with their music because they feel as if they will make more sales if they stick with a specific genre.... but, to me, sales and music are two seperate entities, and should be treated as such. Nach zwei von der Kritik gefeierten Tapes gibt das südwestdeutsche Einmannprojekt Unnatural Bleeding mit dieser Split-CD seinen Einstand auf digitalen Datenträgern, und dieser Auftritt weiß durchweg zu gefallen. Ganz im Stile älterer Aphex Twin-Veröffentlichungen, werden Ambient-Flächen, Klassikfragmente und melancholische Melodien mit Noise-Sounds und technoiden , verzerrten Basslines verknüpft, und allein schon diese ersten sechs Tracks machen "Metamorphis" zu einem Pflichtkauf für den Freund industrieller Technoklänge. Aber auch der Rest der CD ist sehr erfreulich ausgefallen. Das befreundete Projekt Six Past Seven setzt auf seiner Hälfte etwas andere Akzente, indem es technoide und ambiente Songstrukturen noch um eine Spur Dive- und Suicide Commando-Feeling ergänzt, und somit weitaus eingängiger und tanzbarer ist.
Insgesamt ist "Metamorphis" ein sehr gelungener Beitrag zum Thema "Industrial+Techno", den man sich bei gut sortierten Mailordern oder direkt bei A&T Records bestellen kann.
After two tapes celebrated by the criticism the South West German one-man project Unnatural Bleeding´gives its beginning on digital media with this split CD, and throughout it knows to be pleased. Completely in styles of older Aphex Twin publications, ambient surfaces, classical fragments and melancholic melodies with noise sounds and technoid, distorted bass lines linked together, and alone already these first six tracks make "Metamorphis" an obligation purchase for the friend of industrial music. In addition, the remainder of that CD turned out very pleasing. The friendly project Six Past Seven sets some other accents on its half, by its technoid and ambient structures it puts more Dive and Suicide Commando feeling into, and thus it is more dance able. Altogether " Metamorphis" is a very successful contribution about "Industrial+Techno", which one can be ordered at well sorted mailorders or directly at A&T records. Reviewed by Alexander Maciol
